Having a small garden is not bad at all if you just know how to decorate it. You can still grow flowers and even vegetables without taking too much space.
If you have limited space, try growing your favorite edible crops inside hanging baskets or window boxes outside your kitchen window. Read further for some ideas on how to decorate the garden.
Here are 5 great ideas to decorate your shed with flowering boxes:
1. Hanging Basket Flowers
You don't need to have a large garden if you also want to grow flowers in a hanging basket inside or outside your house. You can place it on the window sill, verandah pillars, front porch, or even inside your shed. Just make sure that it gets enough sunlight.
2. Wooden Planters
Wooden planters are good to hang outside of your shed. Just drill holes on each bottom board and run a wire through the holes so you can attach it to hooks attached to the ceiling or beams inside your garden shed. After drilling the holes, smooth the edge of the hole using sandpaper so they won't injure your fingers.
3. Make Your Flower Boxes
Don't buy flower boxes because you can make your own with almost nothing. For instance, use an old window frame to create a flower box or cut off some wood pieces then drill holes then attach them to create a frame for your flower box.
4. Window Boxes
You can hang shed flower boxes inside of your shed's wall or outside your house to make it more colorful and decorative. Just make sure they are safe enough for hanging because they are heavy even if there is nothing in them yet. Use nails to attach the box to the wall near the window.
